Pachamama Anyi was birthed by the following individuals:
Alice Iida, Founder/Executive Director: Alice's background
includes a Master of International Affairs in Economic/Political
Development from Columbia University's School of International and
Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Culture and
International Business Management from Sophia University in
Tokyo, Japan. Her graduate research involved the gender effects on
HIV/AIDS transmission in Kenya.  She has a vast array of
experiences in both the non-profit and international arenas, as well
as in the educational field as a teacher in the public school system,
and a provider of special needs services for children with autism.
Alice is committed to being an activist for a socially just,
environmentally sustainable and spiritually fulfilling humanity.
She
is a trained Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream
facilitator
for the Awakening the Dreamer: Changing the Dream
Symposium.
Alice has spent her life traveling the world, and has
lived in Switzerland, France, Japan and various regions of the
United States (Washington DC, New York, Chicago).  She currently
lives in Hawai'i.  It is, however, in Perú, that she went through a
series of life-changing experiences.
Alice then collaborated with Dr.
Rubén Orellana Neira in bringing groups on journeys to Perú.
Learning about the various indigenous traditions of Perú convinced
her that these cultures held a key to living in harmony with our
earth.  They have held the knowledge of sustainable living for
thousands of years.  It is her belief that combining this knowledge
with our modern world is necessary for the survival of our planet.
She is also committed to working with the people of Perú - to partner
with organizations that bring opportunities for education
, health
care
and protection of their lands - to do all that she can to empower
the indigenous people by educating others with their valuable
knowledge on living holistically and wholistically with the
Pachamama, our Earth Mother.  It is her mission to be actively
involved in the give and take reciprocity with the Earth Mother (also
known in Quechua as 'Pachamama Ayni').
Nadine Thomason, Director/Officer: Alice and Nadine
traveled to Perú together in July 2008.  They formed an
immediate bond with Perú as a country, as well as a
commitment to empowering the indigenous communities
and leading humanity towards a higher co-creative
consciousness.  Nadine lives in Southern Onatario,
Canada. She works with several methods of Energy Healing,
including Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Quantum Touch,
Axiational Alignment, Chakra clearing/balancing  and
Reflexology.  She has studied Illumination, Extractions and
Soul Retrieval under the Four Winds Association.  She is a
metaphysical teacher and counselor and facilitates courses
in meditation and creative visualization.  Her Sacred
Geometry and Bio Signature skills enable her to empower
her clients and raise their frequency enough to enable
them to honor themselves and move forward toward their
goals.  Her mission is to assist the Pachamama in her
healing so that there will be fresh air to breathe and drink -
to remove the control that society has placed on humanity
and to promote the evolution of consciousness of our planet.
Rubén Orellana Neira, Director/Officer: Rubén has an educational
background in Social Sciences (Archaeology) from the Universidad San
Antonio Abada of Cusco, Perú. His experience as an archaeologist
culminated in being named head of  Archaeology of both Saqsaywaman
and Machu Picchu where he discovered 44 new sites surrounding the
Crystal City, including the North Inca Trail.  For these discoveries, he
was on the cover of Time magazine in South America. He has done
extensive research into the mystical aspects of many significant sites and
has been following the shamanic path since the age of nine.  He has also
developed a study of shamanic traditions and the indigenous medical
cultures in the coastal, Andes and jungle region for more than thirty
years and with the healing techniques of the Andes for more than twenty
years.  He is the founding director of
Kamaquen Healing Center (Hosteria
Illarimuy) in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas.  He
has committed his energy and heart with an intention of rejuvenating the
human spirit.
Jillyan Baldwin, Director/Officer: Jillyan is a trained Nurse with over
thirty years of experience. She has run a nursing home for the elderly,
worked in a maternity annex, in an oncology ward, and in a
psychiatric, geriatric nursing home.  She began her work as a public
health nurse in Auckland and community health nurse in Adelaide,
Australia where she developed self-help systems to inspire improved
community health.  In Auckland, her role as a public health nurse gave
her the opportunity to bring together Maori, Pacific Island and Pakeha
families in a community centre for two hours each week.  Without this
continuing weekly experience, these families would have been isolated
in their homes, devoid of socialization and regular contact with the
health department medical officer.  Family clinics of this nature spread
to other parts of Auckland. In Adelaide, Jillyan wrote a proposal called
'Self-help in the Parks' thus propelling her to set up a number of self-
help groups.  She also initiated a food co-operative with the help of
volunteers, an opportunity to teach healthy living while providing
cheap fresh food to the local community. In 1989 she trained with a
Hawaiian Kahuna in Kahuna Bodywork/massage in both Hawaii and
New Zealand.  She also received training in Hypnotherapy, NLP and
psychotherapy while living in London, and ran a practice there for over
4 years.  Before returning to New Zealand, she was invited to work in
Slovenia to conduct workshops on personal development.  From 1998 -
2004 Jillyan lived in the Blue Mountains, Australia where she worked
as a nurse in two nursing homes, and ran a six month course on Huna
Healing.  On her return to New Zealand, she continued working as a
nurse until 2006.  Jillyan is the founder of '
Waiotemarama Healing
Space
'.  She is currently working on a project in collaboration with
Pachamama Ayni to
establish community gardens throughout the
Hokianga, with the goal of providing affordable food sources for the
Maori.  We anticipate this will ripple into the development of many
other related projects.  She is deeply concerned about the state of the
global economy and climate change. Jillyan currently lives in New
Zealand.
